Love, in Practice

1. Professional identity

Alexander Emile Marshi, MA is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, California registration AMFT #159153, employed by Integrated Therapy and Recovery Inc. Clinical services are provided under the supervision of Alex John Lerza, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, LMFT #83946.

Alexander is not an independently licensed therapist and does not offer services through this website as an independent private practice.

2. No therapist–client relationship

Using the assessment, viewing results, sending an email or text, leaving voicemail, or requesting a consultation does not create a therapist–client relationship. Therapy begins only after eligibility and fit are assessed, required documents are completed, informed consent is signed, and both clinician and client agree to begin services through ITR.

3. Limits of the assessment

The score is a transparent, equal-weight reflection index based solely on one user’s responses. The safety domain can cap the overall index. The domains, weights, labels, and cutoffs have not been validated as a psychometric instrument and should not be interpreted as probabilities, diagnoses, prognoses, or instructions to stay, leave, marry, separate, or confront a partner.

The tool does not use a generative AI model, monitor responses, or provide individualized clinical review.

4. Safety and crisis limitation

This site is not a safety assessment, domestic-violence service, or crisis service, and communications are not monitored 24/7. If you are in immediate danger, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. In the United States, call or text 988 for crisis support.

If a partner may monitor your device or retaliate for boundaries, do not use the assessment result as a confrontation script. Consider private support from a safer device. The National Domestic Violence Hotline is available at 800-799-SAFE (7233), by texting START to 88788, or at thehotline.org.

5. Therapy eligibility and jurisdiction

Telehealth psychotherapy is available only when the client is physically located in California at the time of service, subject to clinical appropriateness, availability, payer rules, employer policies, and informed consent. A consultation does not guarantee acceptance as a client.

6. Fees, insurance, and intensives

Published rates and insurance participation may change. Insurance inclusion does not guarantee payment or coverage for couples therapy, intensives, telehealth, or any particular diagnosis or service. Financial terms, cancellation policy, benefits information, and any good-faith estimate are confirmed through ITR before treatment.

Intensives require separate suitability screening and may not be appropriate in the presence of active violence, coercive control, acute crisis, or unstable substance use.

7. Appropriate use and intellectual property

You may use the tool for your own personal reflection. Do not attempt to access another person’s saved answers without permission, misuse the site, interfere with its operation, or reproduce its original assessment and design for commercial use without written permission.

8. No guarantee

Relationship outcomes depend on information and circumstances this tool cannot observe. The site and its content are provided without a guarantee of accuracy, availability, therapeutic benefit, relationship outcome, insurance reimbursement, or suitability for a specific person.
